Annie threw a baby shower for a darling friend, and she made this adorable diaper cake as a gift. It was so cute and had over 250 diapers. Personally I would have gone the easy sideways route with the diapers, but she rolled and secured every single one. The shower was a huge success and Galina and Jack had a darling baby boy! Congratulations!!

Love those boys!
Some cute and silly pictures of two of my nephews. Wills is such a happy boy. Yesterday he told me that the first few days at pre-school, they learned nothing. But now they are learning stuff like opposites. When I asked him to tell me what an opposite was he told me "Like up, and down." His dad asked him the opposite of 'light'. William thought for a while and then said,"not-light". Very clever little boy. Always has an answer, even if he has to figure one out for you.

My little Texan. The only one who was sad when they moved back to SLC instead of Texas. You just have to love James. Even when he is making the bunny face and you can't get past the teeth. He plays with the dogs and teaches them all sorts of tricks. Yesterday he and Wills 'hypnotized' the dogs with rhythmic drumming. Such a sweetheart, and a smartie too. He won the school spelling bee, and no one at home even knew he was in the running until it was all over. It will be fun to see where he goes with all he can do.

Dog Days
What are dogs doing?
First they have to get a lot of rest in this bed.

Then they have to get a lot of rest in this bed.

Then they play, and growl, and chew up the mail, and find somewhere inconvenient to leave "messages", and then they have to sit by the stairs and pose for yet another picture. Finally, like shampoo, following lather and rinse, they repeat. Look how much Posey has grown. She is Poco's equal now, not that she ever let that stop her advances. Fiesty little girl.

Moving Fun
Rachel and Drew rented their house in preparation for their next adventure. Kenz and I were able to help Rach move the last of their things out before the renter moved in.

Here's the beginning of the big mattress move. I wish I had pictures of the rest of it. They wrapped it up in the trash sacks for preservation, but the sacks make it really slippery. When we tried to stand it on its side to move it, it kept slipping over. We couldnt really grab it because it slid around under the bags. Then we couldn't get it out through the house so we went off the deck...into the snow...on top of a wheelbarrow...through the dog poop...laughing all the way. It was awesome! Hilarious fun with my favorite people, and we managed to get it safely (mostly) into the shed.

Bag it up and move it out.
Here's a hint to the future destination. Bom Dia!!
Rock Band Focus Group
To borrow a phrase from one of my favorite businessmen:Dwight... Question, What do BYU MBA students focus on after the focus group? Answer: Beets. No, Dwight. Answer: ROCK BAND! What a great night! Now we just need a name for the band.
