Just across the street, the National Guard HazMat team disembarks with their gear.
Here they are outlining their strategy.
Here is the local sherrif who came to "brief us on the situation"--the original story we heard was that there was a possible extermination poison possibly contaminating the house. Then we heard that the family had borrowed a Carbon Dioxide detector that had registered some possible gas leak. The Natl.Guard came to bring in detection equipment that could identify the gas type.
Here they go in their nifty suits on their very cool 6-wheeler.
Griff took the sherrif very seriously and decided to do a little HazMatting inside. He loves the vacuum.
This is the team staging area at the house next to the one with the leak.
Here are the looky-loos. It kills me that one door down they are in protective gear, and these guys are hanging out watching the action in tank tops, with camp chairs. Just a little bit of irony. Love it!!
Oh, in the end it turns out that some dryer lint found its way into a situation that caused all the hubbub. Who knew a little lint could be such a big deal....bellybuttons beware! (someone warn the looky-loos)
More birthday fun, here's Maxwell--a teenager at last! Hopefully he wasn't too old for the rockets. He is a brilliant scientist so I would imagine if he didn't love them, he could turn them into something that he did love!
