Poor Little Posey

Poor little Posey went to the vet yesterday. With a male and a female dog in the house, we were a little worried about accidental additions to the family. I felt terrible leaving her at the vet and I had to keep telling myself that it was the responsible thing to do. Poco hasn't been neutered yet because a couple of people have expressed interest in having him as a daddy for some Chihuahua pups, so Posey had to step up for the family.

It was a long day and night for both of us. Rather than a dog whisperer, I have become a dog worrier. She is feeling much better today, although she hates the collar. I can't say I blame her. What looked regal on Queen Elizabeth, looks a little restrictive on a busy little girl. It is crazy hard to keep the two dogs away from each other. They are such besties that neither one is happy without the other one right next to him/her. Two weeks of this will be plenty for all of us.

Yup, that's the face that lays down the guilt. Sorry Posey. You'll be good to go in no time!

Two Great Shows! Two mediocre pictures-my fault.

We went to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz...at Clayton. Once again those amazing parents, students, and staffers at Clayton have pulled off an amazing show! They had a flying rig and terrific special effects. I was totally impressed! (and I see a lot of shows!) One munchkin soldier was particularly impressive. He stole the show! The magnificent Maxwell made us all so proud! (Sorry for the so-so picture, about a hundred people kept walking in front of me so I had no time to set it up) Notice James getting his fair share of air-time. :)
One great show deserves another. Last week I took my mom to see Brian Reagan at Abravanel Hall. He was hilarious! Even his opening act was hilarious. So much fun to sit in that auditorium and laugh for two hours with strangers, who felt like friends by the end. Isn't laughing just the best thing ever?!

Swainisized

The man, the myth, the legend, Monte Swain!
Believe it or not, he's actually an accounting professor...and so much more!

Today he taught aviation. Okay so really it was absorption accounting, but it felt a lot more like aviation.

And it looked a lot more like fun, than anything else.

Whoever said that accounting wasn't exhilerating? Okay, probably a lot of people, but none of them were in my class on paper airplane fight night! Go Go Gadget Gallery!

Valentine's Breakfast

Happy Valentine's Day!
Kenz had a delicious Valentine's breakfast. It was so wondeful, and so fun to see everyone!

Four of my very favorite people in the whole world! Not to mention stylish, accomplished, and generous! (Will is especially generous with his kisses, which I love!) Probably none of them will love this picture because it doesn't do any of them justice, but that is the photographer's fault. Sorry. Love you!

Here are Bubba and Will. Two of a kind.

As you can see it was quite a spread, and there were heart shaped pancakes and waffles too. Nothing says loving like something from the oven.
